From next Friday, Universitat de València and its Scientific Park are implementing the EVOMOBILE project at the Tarongers and Blasco Ibáñez campuses. This project is a pilot experiment aimed at promoting the use of the electric vehicle among the university community. At Tarongers, the project will be implemented in the Facultat de Magisteri’s parking lot on 14 and 17 September from 9:30 to 14:00. At Blasco Ibáñez, those interested will attend the Aulari V’s parking lot at the same hours on 19 and 20 September.

As it was done at Burjassot Campus, Universitat de València will offer some cars, motorbikes and electric bikes to the students with different goals. These goals include the study of the different electric vehicles, the study of the actual economic, environmental impact of the electric car, as well as the potential users and the possibilities this way of transportation offers regarding new ways of business.

At Tarongers, the project will be implemented in the Facultat de Magisteri’s parking lot on 14 and 17 September from 9:30 to 14:00. At Blasco Ibáñez, those interested will attend the Aulari V’s parking lot –entrance in C/Primado Reig- at the same hours on 19 and 20 September.

Reservations are availabe at 963 544 758 or by internet clicking here.

EVOMOBILE will be presented at both campuses (Friday 14 September at 12:00, classroom PB4, Facultat de Magisteri, and Wednesday 19 September at 12:00, at Aulari V’s main hall).

Implemented as a living-lab, EVOMOBILE is meant to study the actual economic, environmental impact of the electric car, as well as the potential users and the possibilities this way of transportation offers regarding new ways of business. The project is based on four technology pillars developed by Valencian companies linked to the Scientific Park. On the one hand, a booking system called BOOKITIT has been implemented by NUBESIS, a Scientific Park’s company especializing in innovative software applications. On the other hand, a market research system of online surveys developed by ESAM has been also created. The project has a network made up of eight charging points at the UV’s campuses – being the Scientific Park the main station – . A fleet of vehicles are available thanks to some companies: NISSAN ALMERA, SCOOTER PLAN, QB-BIKES, and SOMOE. The company ALKIME has produced the charging poles.
