
The University of Valencia’s Institute of Human Rights (IDH) analyzed the rights, ambitions and hopes in the Near East at a seminar that took place on November 17th. The seminar started at 17:00 p.m. at the Valencia’s site of UIMP (Palau Pineda, Plaza del Carmen).
Some of the experts who participated in the seminar were: the writer and diplomat José Mª Ridao; the executive director of UNRWAce (UN agency for Palestinian refugees), Raquel Mar; the full professor in Public International Law and director of the seminar and of the IDH, Consuelo Ramón; the lecturer in International Relations from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Irene Rodríguez Manzano; the specialized journalist in the Near East and lecturer in Journalism, Lola Bañón; the delegate for UNRWAce in the Valencian Community, Eduardo Lloret; the collaborator of the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights-Gaza, Davide Tundo; and the full professor in Public International Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Antonio Remiro.
