The admission criteria to the Master’s Degree in Contemporary History are as follows:

- Previous degree with which the student accesses, giving preference to those holding a Licenciatura or a Degree in History.
- Academic record, for those who have obtained a previous degree in the last 5 years.

To complement this, the following criteria will also be taken in account:

- Research experience
- Professional experience
- Publications
- Academic studies abroad and proficiency in diverse languages
- Obtaining of aids or research fellowship.
