This new video, which can be viewed on the Youth Chair’s YouTube channel, is the second of 10 audiovisual modules in the first season of the pin_jove project.
This awareness-raising training video covers the topic of creating one’s identity as a young person. In the video, Juan José Zacarés González, professor in the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology, explains why identity is a key factor in understanding the psychosocial development of young people. The collaborating professor of the Youth Chair emphasises the need to establish appropriate socio-educational strategies for working with and providing resources for young people on their journey of self-discovery.
The Youth Chair, the result of an agreement between the Universitat de Valencia and the Valencian Institute for Young People (IVAJ), launched the pin_jove project with the aim of offering a useful tool to help support those who work in the youth sector and to reinforce positive socio-educational accompaniment. The first season of pin_jove consists 10 awareness-raising training modules on the basics of youth work, each of which is presented by an expert in the field.
You can find the second episode and the rest of the pin_jove project on the Youth Chair's website and on the Youth Chair’s social media platforms.
