Idees MOTIVEM en Equip Award Ceremony 2018

Ganadores premio Idees Motivem 2018

The Principal of the Universitat de València, Mª Vicenta Mestre, and the President of ADEIT, Juan Manuel Pérez, have had the privilege to give the Idees MOTIVEM en Equip Award 2018 to the project “Gota a Gota”. It was coordinated by the professor Adna María Ferri and the students Laura Compte, Cynthia Díaz i Enric Dolz. The Faculty of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, the Faculty of Biological Sciences and the Faculty of Nursing and Podiatry have participated in the project.

The Vice-principal of Employment and Formative Programmes, Mª Adela Valero, and the General Director of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Cooperativism of the Valencian Government, Francisco Álvarez, have given 14 diplomas to the finalist teams. In addition, 25 teachers from different centres of the University have received a diploma that recognises their activity in Idees MOTIVEM. The Vice-principal, Mª Adela Valero, and the Autonomous Secretary for Education and Research, Miguel Soler, have given the diplomas.

The Director of Centro de Instituciones de CaixaBank in the Valencian Community, Fernando Corell, the President of the Patronage of the Chair for Business Culture, Carlos Pascual de Miguel, and the General Director for Economy, Entrepreneurship and Cooperativism of the Valencian Government, Francisco Álvarez; have assited to the event.

The Principal Mª Vicenta Mestre concluded the Award Ceremony emphasising the diversity of the Universitat de València and the importance of the interaction among different centres to produce ambitious and creative projects. Mestre has highlighted the necessity to move towards multidisciplinary management and take advantage of the potential of students and professors to increase the transference.

MOTIVEM is a formation initiative of the Universitat de València led by the Vice-principal for Employment and Formative Programmes through the ADEIT University-Business Foundation. It aims to support the teacher’s effort to promote student creativity by developing ideas in groups to improve their employability. The idea is to develop their competences before they finish their studies and start their professional career.

The participation of professors and students of the Universitat de València in MOTIVEM is free and counts with the economic support of the Valencian Government and Obra Social la Caixa.
