Researchers, companies and investors of biotechnology sector meet in Parc Científic at Innotransfer Forum

On Friday 29 November, Parc Científic of Universitat de València holds Innotransfer Forum. Organised by Valencian Scientific Parks Network (rePCV), the meeting is aimed for presenting the last biotechnological solutions in different fields and promoting the networking between research groups, companies and investors.

Fostering the biotechnological networking between research groups of the five Valencian public universities, sector’s Spanish companies and invesors is the main goal of Innotransfer Forum, that organises Valencian Scientific Parks Network at Parc Científic of Universitat de València with the support of Instituto Valenciano de Competitividad Empresarial.

The meeting, that starts at 10:00h in Marie Curie Auditorium, will count on the lecture of Daniel Ramón, Vice-president of I+D in Nutrition and Health of ADM Biopolis and Vice-president third of Spanish Bioindustry Association (ASEBIO). Appart from the challenges of the sector for the next decades, Ramón make uso of the singularity of the collaboration’s agreement that keeps the company with the Institute for Integrative Systems Biology (I2SysBio, UV-CSIC), both set in Parc Científic of Universitat de València.

Along the event, researches and/or developments that carry out different research groups of the Valencian universities and sector’s companies will be presented. The Multidisciplinary Institute for Environmental Studies of University of Alacant, Institute of Research, Development and Innovation in Healthcare Biotechnology (IDiBE) in Miguel Hernández University, Institute for Plant Molecular and Cell Biology of Universitat Politècnica de València, I+D Biotechnology and Synthetic Biology Group of Universitat de València and the Bioinspired Supramolecular Chemistry and Materials Group (BIOSUPRAMAT) of Universitat Jaume I in Castelló will speak. Also will participate the biotech companies set in the rePCV field, Glen Biotech, Bioithas, Oscillum, Iberogen, EpiDisease, Seqplexing, Binartis Genomics, Tesoro Imaging and Biotica.

The meeting will end with and space dedicated to foster the networking contacts between participants, attendants and specialized investors in biotechnology. Those interested in taking part can enrol via Innotransfer’s website.
