Considered by many the best film of the Chilean cinema, “Jackal of Nahueltoro” describes a real fact occurred in 1960 where a peasant killed several people. The brutal story, the reflection on death penalty and human rights and the absurd response of the justice made, among other reasons, that this film were one of the most persecuted by the military dictatorship of Pinochet.
