Agenda UV

The possibility of watching and practising this legendary and pleasing Japanese swordsmanship in the UV. Next 21 and 22 February, the Physical Education and Sports Service organised the twelfth edition of the Open of Kendo of the UV. The University Pavilion (C/Menéndez Pelayo, 19) will host the competition and the training sessions which, year by year, continues gaining followers. Within the framework of the university exchange agreement between the Waseda University (Tokio) and the UV, for this edition of the classes at the Clinic will be taught by Yano Sensei, 8th Dan de Kendo Kyoshi and Shi Han (full university professor) of the Waseda University along with Takeshita Sensei, Miyake Sensei, Davis Sensei (7th Dan de Kendo Kyoshi, international referee and a member of the Bristish Kendo Association) among many other outstanding professors of the Waseda University. The registration for this big event is already available and open until next 16 February.
