Online Higher Education: Massive Open Online Course(MOOC) offered by the Staff Development and Educational Innovation Service of the University of Valencia (January-May 2014)
The course La Educación Superior en Red (Online Higher Education) will begin on January 2014 and will end in April of the same year. Several professionals will participate in it, such as Francisco Sierra Caballero (US), Cristóbal Suárez (UV), Cristóbal Cobo (Oxford Internet Institute), Jordi Adell (UJI) and Tíscar Lara (EOI).
Registration will be open until 22 November. The course is intended for the University of Valencia’s PDI (teaching and research staff) and PAS (administrative and service staff) and to external staff from any educational level, mainly for professionals in the field of education.
This course is a follow-up of the courses Nuevas Alfabetizaciones y Nuevos Entornos Conectivistas (New Literacies and Connectivists Environments) and Tendencias Educativas Digitales Iberoamericanas (Digital Iberoamerican Educational Trends) and will feature professionals from different areas of knowledge who will run online lectures. These lectures will be supplemented with weekly tutorials to expand the topics covered and which will seek to create educational networks.
