Synopsis: Patsy is a chorus girl that works for the theatre company "The Pleasure Garden". One day she mets Jill, a young girl recently arriving from the city, who wishes to find a niche in the company. Patsy befriends her and gets her an audition, immediately becoming the star of the show. Jill is the fiancée of Hugh, a young soldier that will have to part from her in order to set out in a trip to the Tropics, where he must join the English colony. While Hugh is away and Patsy initiates a relationship with Levett, Hugh's partner, Jill's fame sky-rockets, and she will began to seek the company of other men.
