The UVEG-CITMA Demetri Ribes Chair presented in Alicante the online version of this scientific work developed jointly with Fundación Miguel Aguiló

The UVEG-CITMA Demetri Ribes Chair presented in Alicante one of its latest works, the “Guía de Puentes de la Provincia de Alicante” (Guide of Bridges of the Province of Alicante). The work was coordinated by Professor of Art History Inmaculada Aguilar, head of the Demetri Ribes Chair, along with Miguel Aguiló, president of the Fundación Miguel Aguiló. The research is part of a long-term project promoted by the Conselleria d’Infraestructures, Territori i Medi Ambient (Valencian Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Environment).

The document, which will be available on the website of the Conselleria d’Infraestructures, Territori i Medi Ambient, will be presented in the Assembly Hall of the Puerta Ferrisa Municipal Building in Alicante (Jorge Juan Street, 21), on Monday 28 at 11:00. The presentation will be attended by the Regional Secretary for Infrastructure and Transport, Victoriano Sánchez-Barcaiztegui; Carlos Eleno, Director General of Transport and Logistics; the City Councillor of Training and Employment of Alicante, Carlos Castillo; Inmaculada Aguilar, head of the Demetri Ribes Chair and Miguel Aguiló, president of the Fundación Miguel Aguiló.

The lack of studies on the bridges in the province of Alicante, the thorough interdisciplinary work, the large time range analysed and the maps and photographs produced especially for this work make this guide a relevant work amidst the scientific production.
