DELE
Registration for Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) tests

What is DELE?

DELE is an official certification that gives credit to the level of competence and knowledge of the Spanish language and it is issued and recognised by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain. This certificate is valid for an unlimited period and it is not required to retake the test or somehow revalidate the gained competence in Spanish. The DELE tests are designed following the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) guidelines, which guarantees a practical way of establishing standard international objective measurements stating which levels shall be achieved in each stage of education and how are the results evaluated. All variations of the Spanish language are considered valid to get the diploma.

Target group

General DELE tests are addressed to literate public of all ages, although they are aimed to people aged 16 and older and the registration of minors must be done by their legal representatives.

The Universitat de València is the examination centre and takes part in various calls, like for example the one in April.
