Study and restoration of Christ
Presentation of an unusual, complex work that has been recently restored by doctor María Gómez Rodrigo in the Art Laboratory of this faculty.
This is an sculpture of the 18th century that has a great artistic value. It was made in plasterboard and has required the use of new techniques. The intervention has been made in the present academic year as a teaching work of Service Learling kind.
The act will count with a performance prepared by the students, the exhibition of the work with UV light and a round table composed by: the Ivacor director Gema Contreras, the restoring director of the IVAM Maite Martínez, the dean of the faculty Ester Alba and the art historian Daniel Benito along with the restorer María Gómez.
