Ana Iris grew up listening to her grandparents telling her of two fading worlds. One belongs to carnies complaining about their having more debts and less money, because as life turned into a fair -the one of vanities-, the authentic fair ceased making sense. The other belongs to old men, peasants transmitting the value of living in the countryside.
