On the reduplication of verbs

In Chinese language there are several verbs using reduplication. If we use A to represent a monosyllabic verb, and AB for disyllabic verbs, the form to reduplicate monosyllabic and disyllabic verbs will be “AA” and “ABAB”. This form of verb reduplication has very regular and popular linguistic variations, but not all verbs can be reduplicated. According to the data accessed, the verbs that can be reduplicated are roughly 70%. In this section we detail the necessary steps to apply the reduplication rules.
