ACTIVA FEST is a contest aimed to promote activities, which form part of the schedule of cultural and artistic festivals, organized by groups, associations or individuals.

 

CALL’S OBJECTIVES

The objective of this call is to encourage the development of cultural and artistic activities based on creativity and critical reflection through art and, also, present university spaces as a dynamic platform open to its interests.

Those festivals can be held in any space or location of the Valencian Country, nonetheless, it’s important to hold at least one of the planned activities in the Cultural Centre La Nau or in some other facility that belongs to the Universitat de València.

The selected activities will take place before November 30th, 2023, in accordance with the current socio-sanitary regulation.

PARTICIPANTS

Organizers of festivals are allowed to participate either individually or representing any association or group.

 

APPLICATION SUBMISSION PERIOD (From February 19 to March 8, 2024) Extension of submission deadline until March 29, 2024

The application submission period kick-starts from the day after of publication of extract of the call’s resolution in the Official Diary of Valencian Government (DOGV), and terminates 15 working days after the said publication.

 

FINANCIAL ALLOCATION

The total amount of aid to be granted is15,000 €. The financial allocation for every selected activity will not exceed 3.000 € for each project. The monetary amount will be subject to the legally established withholdings in accordance with the tax legislation.

 

APPLICATION                                                                                                             

Before submitting an application or making an inquiry, read the   call’s bases.

The application can be submitted via the platform Entreu (electronic office of the Universitat de València), which can be accessed by: digital certificate, cl@ve system or generic user of the Universitat de València (with the username and password of the Universitat de València). 

In case of not having access by those means, the access can be gained via SEU user, requesting access using a user name, which normally would be an email and a password. The system will provide you with a form to complete and submit to the system. Some minutes later, you will receive an email with the conclusion of the registration process, which will activate the account you have indicated.

 

While completing the ENTREU form you must take into account:

In the GENERAL tab select:         

                   -Unit type:  University services and Central services.
                   - Body to which it’s addressed: University Culture Service
                   - Desired processing: IV Activa Fest Contest

    

In the EXHIBITION AND APPLICATION tab indicate:
                   -Facts and reasons: Published call of the IV Activa Fest Contest

                   -Request: Participate in this contest

 

The application must be accompanied by the following documentation:

  1. The application’s form, completed and signed (Annex II).
  1. Photocopy of the ID of the applicant, in case of a group, of each participant or the NIF (Tax Identification Number) of the association.
  1. Review of the trajectory of the Festival and of the collaborating entities.
  1.  If the project is presented by a group, group’s CV must be provided.
  1. Technical report of the project to be developed, with detailed information of it and additional documentation that is considered appropriate to provide.
  1. Declaration of responsibility of each aid applicants, according to standard model provided by the University Culture Service, evidencing the fulfilment of tax obligations and of the Social Security, and that none incur any of the circumstances set out in articles 13.2 and 13.3 of the General Grant Law 38/2003. In case of applications submitted by groups or associations, must be incorporated the Declaration of responsibility of each of the participants. (Annex III).
