Joaquin Aldás-Manzano (PhD in Business and Economics, Universitat de València, Spain) is Professor of Marketing in the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Economics, Universitat de València, Researcher of Valencia Economics Research Institute (Ivie) and Visiting Research Fellow of the University of Glasgow (Scotland, UK) His research interest is focused on quantitative methods in marketing research and it has been published in the European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Services Marketing, Journal of Interactive Marketing, Journal of Business Ethics, Online Information Review o Tourism Management. He has co-authored with Prof. Ezequiel Uriel the book: Análisis Multivariante Aplicado [Applied Multivariate Data Analysis] (Thomson, 2005) and Análisis Multivariante Aplicado con R [Applied Multivariate Data Analysis with R] (Paraninfo, 2017).

Biography
 

Enrique Bigné is Professor of Marketing at the University of Valencia since 2001. He previously occupied the same position at the University Jaume I (1996-2001).

Education: Ph.D. in Economics and Business Administration, a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, a Degree in Law, and post graduate diplomas in Market Research and in Operations Research.

Research interests: advertising, e-WOM, tourism, and neuromarketing. His work has been published in European Journal of Marketing, Psychology & Marketing, Journal of Current Issues and Research in Advertising, International Journal of Advertising, Annals of Tourism Research, Tourism Management, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Services Marketing, among others.

Visiting Scholar at the University of Maryland and Berkeley.

Editor of European Journal of Management & Business Economics; Revista de Análisis Turistico. Associated Editor of Journal of Global Marketing, Journal of Modelling in Management, and Pasos. Member of the Editorial Board in several journals.

He has served as a Head of the Department, Dean of the School of Economics and Vice-chancellor for International Relationships and Communications of the University of Valencia Academic director of the International MBA and Master in Marketing y Comunicacion.

Biography
 

Amparo Cervera has been a Full-time Professor at the University of Valencia since 2008. She has been positively evaluated in 6 five-year teaching periods and 4 six-year research periods recognized by the Ministry of Science and Education.

Throughout the years of dedication to the University, she has carried out research, teaching, management and knowledge transfer responsibilities. In all activities, she has prioritized individual effort combined with teamwork, rigor, and public service. Her transfer activity has been developed from the absolute conviction that she is part of the social responsibility of the Universities and of her research teaching staff.

She has been director of the International Institute of Economy (2016-2022). She has participated in more than 25 research projects, 11 of them financed in public calls and 14 are contracts with companies or institutions. She has been director of the City of Valencia Chair (2013-2015) and the Sustainable Economic Model Chair of Valencia and its surroundings (2017-2019). She has led several competitive projects with the SIV research group -service, innovation, value- that she directs. Highlight ENPI European project called Newcimed: new cities in the Mediterranean Sea Basin on the sustainable development of tourist destinations. Led (2017-2019) a competitive project within the Program for the promotion of scientific research, technological development and innovation in the Valencian Community on the sustainability of Cruise Tourism.

She is the author or co-author of more than 75 articles -60 of them indexed in Web of Science-, editor of 3 books and author or co-author of 35 books or book chapters, some of them of international diffusion. She has presented more than 150 papers at conferences and lectured to diverse audiences. She is now Managing Editor of the Int. Review on Public and Nonprofit Marketing -Springer-.

She has directed 13 doctoral theses, 10 of them financed by companies or institutions in a clear link with the transfer of science to economic and social reality. Three of them were awarded extraordinary doctorate prizes by their respective universities -Castellón and Valencia- and another by the Entrepreneurship Chair of the University of Salamanca as the best Spanish thesis in Entrepreneurship. She has also directed numerous master's and doctoral final projects.

She has been invited to participate as a member of commissions that have to judge the competitions for access to university teaching bodies nationally and internationally, as well as a member of doctoral thesis tribunals.

She has evaluated Research projects for ANEP (National Agency of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation) as well as for the Directorate of Evaluation and Accreditation of the Andalusian Knowledge Agency (DEVA-AAC) and the European Comission.

Regarding research stays, note Victoria University (New Zealand), University of Birmingham (UK), Harvard Business School (USA), University of Beira Interior (Portugal), Paris XIII (France), Austral University (Chile). In Spain, at the Autonomous University of Madrid, Almería, Castilla-La Mancha and Barcelona.

Awards: 2008 Best Paper in Industrial Marketing Management (SSCi Journal); 2010 Awards for Excellence as Outstanding paper in Industrial Management & Data Systems (SSCi Journal). Presentation Award: 'Collaborating to innovate: effects on customer knowledge management and performance' from the Global Innovation and Knowledge Academy (GIKA 2014); 'Cross-cultural perceptions of onshore guided tours: a qualitative approach base don eWOM' (GIKA 2016); 'An approach to how perceived risk acts in tourist decision-making' (XXII International Tourism and Business Congress 2019); 'Social Innovation Capacity in cities: proposal of a theoretical model from a strategic collaborative perspective' (Intl Association on Public and Nonprofit Marketing 2020); 'User interface influence on information processing: effects of presence on cognitive load and understanding 2 (AIRSI 2023 (Artificial Intelligence; Immersive Technologies, Robots, Social Media, Internet of Things).

She is currently Vicepresident of the International Association on Public and Nonprofit Marketing and an elected member of the Board of the School of Economics. Also, Member of the SDG and Gender Commission of the University of Valencia.

ACADEMIC & TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Her teaching and research interest has focused on aspects related to diverse fields of marketing, publishing books and articles in leading magazines, both national and international. She teaches in official and own degrees/postgrades, both from the University of Valencia and from other universities, institutions and companies. She is the head of various official and proper postgrade programmes.

PROFESSIONAL & RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

She has acted and acts as a professional consultant for SMEs and multinationals in aspects related to strategic marketing and sales and sales management, highlighting her frequent collaboration with sectors such as healthy food, wine, lighting and textiles, tourism, among others.

She has also been a consultant in public institution, such as the CEACCU (Spanish Confederation of Consumers and Users Associations), the National Higher Education Assessment Council (Portugal) or the ANECA.

She has participated and led several research naational and interational projects and advisory projects for companies.

She has acted as supervisor of diverses MT and thesis in the marketing field.

Biography
 

Natalia Vila Lopez is a Professor of Marketing since 2010 in the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Economics, University of Valencia. She was worked for this department since 1994. Her research interests are marketing strategy, brand positioning, product packaging and international strategies.

She has been recognised with 4 research periods (1997-2002; 2003-2008; 2009-3014 and 2015-2020) endorsed by more than 100 articles (primarily international) and 4 five-year teaching periods (2003-2005-2010-2015-2020) obtained with regular teaching in grade, postgraduate and doctorate. Recognition with the highest score (EXCELLENT) in the DOCENTIA program of the teaching activity for the period 2014-2019.

She has collaborated as an expert for the Ministry of Science and Innovation, Subdelegation for Research Projects (Economics area) (2010 and 2011) and has been collaborating regularly with ANECA (ACREDITA programme) since 2015.

She has provided advice and knowledge transfer to SMEs, corporations and various organisations such as CEACCU (Spanish Confederation of Consumer and User Associations), Asociación Pret a Porter Industrial Comunidad Valenciana (PIV), Antares Iluminación S.A., Intermarché Prodis, Sáez Merino, Buraglia, Ubesol, Maverik, or Kenmark.
