Our International Business bachelor students who have just graduated with honors from the International Double Degree (IDD) at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) have achieved great success, both academically and as innovation professionals. A clear example of this recognition is our student Alejandra Abati, who has been chosen president of the American Marketing Association (AMA) at UNCW. This prestigious position highlights Alejandra's leadership and skills, as well as the quality of the training our students receive at the International Business Degree.
Alejandra participated with our student José Antonio Sanz in the ‘Direct Effect Innovation Challenge with ESPN and UPS’ in Charlotte (USA) where they won first place in the event.
Since the beginning of this international collaboration, our students have been able to take advantage of this unique opportunity for academic and personal growth, which evidences their high level of preparation and the skills they have acquired.
This type of international collaborations, within the framework of the TABSA International Consortium, are essential for the integral development of our students and are promoted by the Faculty of Economics International Relations Office (ORI). For this purpose, regular meetings of the different consortia are held. This time, the Associate Dean of International Relations, Asunción Hernández, and the International Business Double Degree Mobility Coordinator, María Escrivá, attended the meeting, together with Dr. Lisa Scribner, UNCW Mobility Coordinator and Director of the Marketing Department. This meeting has not only reaffirmed the strong collaboration between our institutions, but also allowed us to explore new ways to further enhance academic and cultural exchange between our students.
