Faculty of Geography and History inaugurates the exhibition «Miguel Calatayud. Designs" at the opening of the 7th ALCESXXI Conference
The exhibition, installed in the entrance hall of the Faculty of Geography and History, highlights the illustrator and comic book author's work as a designer, and was made possible thanks to a donation from curator Álvaro Pons to the Valencian Design Archive. The conference will be held from July 14 to 17, 2026 at the University of Valencia.

An international research team led by the University of Valencia (UV) has overturned interpretations that had stood for decades regarding two contexts associated with the ritual known as Capacocha of the ancient Inca Empire in what is now Chile: the Boy of Cerro El Plomo and the young women of Cerro Esmeralda. The study, published in Science Advances, unravels two longstanding mysteries in recent archaeology.
