The Companyia Hongaresa de Teatre celebrates its 20th anniversary with the creation of this show. A crazy, lucid and vibrant comedy born from the characters of Ionesco’s work ‘La Cantatrice Chauve’.

Mr Martin is meeting Mrs Smith at any McDonald’s in London. It won’t stop raining outside and this impersonal fast food restaurant is the hiding place chosen by these two sad adulterous people. That is how this crazy, lucid and vibrant comedy starts; in it Cunillé talks about the current situation, an era more and more similar to that created by Ionesco and imagines how his characters would be nowadays, so he locates them at McDonald’s. A show filled with absurd humor, jokes games and very fun situations: clandestine couples who meet at a McDonald’s, Italian opera singers exiled in London, consumers singing Happy Birthday, former maids who are waitresses now, fire marshals and several anecdotes which reflect a society which goes crazier everyday.
