The Languages Policy Service, in collaboration with other Valencian universities, organises each January official Catalan language tests (CIEACOVA) to certify B1, B2, C1 and C2 levels.

Who can register for the test
Registration is open only to active members of the university community for the January call. Having an e-mail address with the domain @alumni.uv.es or being a member of Alumni does NOT give individuals the right to register.
The registration fee of the January call changes from year to year and it entitles candidates to one attempt. UV staff (PDI, PI and PTGAS) can apply for grants for official language tests.

JANUARY

The University of Valencia will administer Catalan tests for B1, B2, C1 and C2 levels in January in collaboration with the rest of the Valencian universities (CIEACOVA). Please refer to the official announcement (and amendment) of the exam for information on the procedures and registration. Registration in the January call implies full acceptance of the conditions described in that announcement (and amendment).

MAY
JUNE

As in previous years, the University of Valencia participates in the CIEACOVA's May/June call only through the affiliated centre Florida Universitària. After an initial registration period exclusively for the Florida Universitària community and business group, staff and students of the University of Valencia will be able to register, as long as there are places left. Only the UV staff and students who are active during the enrolment period can register. Find out more here.

Downloading CIEACOVA certificates
The University of Valencia issues digital CIEACOVA certificates with a secure verification code and full validity. Follow this procedure to download a certificate:
- Click here and use your UV username and password to access the application form.
- If you do not have UV credentials, you must use a digital certificate to access.
- Fill in the form and choose CCID (Certificats de coneixement d'idiomes) from the tab "Selecció de certificat".
- In the "Certificat" tab, choose the certificate you want to apply for.
- IMPORTANT: In the "Acabar" tab, accept electronic notifications. Otherwise the certificate will not be generated automatically.
- Click on the button "Finalitzar i anar al meu lloc personal".
- Go to "Historial d'expedients".
- Find the relevant record and click on the envelope with a green arrow icon that appears in the "Resol" column.
