In a war zone, where the United Nations Blue Helmets try to control the situation, several characters live their own conflicts: Sophie (Mélanie Thierry)wants to help people, Mambrú (Benicio del Toro) wants to go back home, and Katya (Olga Kurylenko) has been in love with Mambrú for a while. On the other hand, Damir (Fedja Stukan) wants the war to be over, Nikola (Eldar Residovic) wants a football ball, and B (Tim Robbins) does not know what he wants. A group of workers try to take a corpse out of a well in the conflict zone. Someone has kicked it inside in order to rot water and leave close towns without supply. But the most simple task seems an impossible mission in which the real enemy may be irrationality. Workers traverse the delirious war zone trying to solve the situation as if they were guinea pigs in a labyrinth.
