Felicie is a girl who, after losing her parents, lives in an orphanage in Britain, where she was born. Dancing is her passion and she dreams about becoming a professional ballerina. To accomplish it, she runs away helped by her friend Victor and travels to 1879 Paris. There she passes for someone else and accedes to the position of pupil at the Grand Opera house in order to fight for the life she desires.
