The University of Valencia has three self-learning language centres. Apart from the courses, which are free, conversation groups are offered in some languages.

CAL is a free service offered by the Language Policy Service which is open to all members of the university community (students, teachers and administration and staff services) and also to the members of the group "Antics Alumnes UV" (Friends and Alumni Students of the University of Valencia).
With CAL it is possible to learn Catalan, English, French and German. Some materials are also at disposal in order to learn Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Spanish and Chinese.
