Through this exhibition, the University of Valencia expects to make known for the very first time the valuable and unpublished collection of printings dating from the 16th and 17th centuries by Mariano Moret. A collection composed by nearly a hundred of pieces of certified dating and recognised value, that have been configured on the basis on a specialised selective criteria that bestow a particular interest. These works in paper, which result from the art of engraving, are signed in its majority by well-known artists and show the influence of two of the more significant masters in the history of art: Durero and Lucas van Leyden.
