VISITING RESEARCHERS

Interested researchers will be able to develop their research in collaboration with a research group or professor.

To facilitate the application and ensure stays run effectively, please follow the appropriate instructions as per the below.

1. Contact the appropriate department to organise your acceptance at UV: https://links.uv.es/sBUg9yg 

2. Submit the authorisation form

2.1. Submit the authorisation form (Annex I), at least one month before the planned date of arrival:

  • Research stays proposed by academics/students from a Spanish university: the form must be sent both to the Head of the department/Centre/Institute where the research stay is to be carried out and to the Vice-Deanship for Research and Quality, via email to: investigaciodret@uv.es
  • Research stays proposed by academics/students from a foreign university: the form must be sent both to the Head of the department/Centre/Institute where the research stay is to be carried out and to the Vice-Deanship for Mobility and Internationalisation, via their email address: internationalmobilitydret@uv.es

2.2. The invitation request should be accompanied by the following documents:

- Passport-size photograph

- Golden paragraph

- CV of the applicant

- Valid insurance policy which meets the requirements in the guideline Order 5/2016 (Spanish only).

3. Any formalities needed (traineeship agreement, certificates of arrival or attendance, access to libraries, premises, wifi, etc) must be directly arranged and signed by the hosting staff.

4. Once the temporary stay has ended, the welcoming person must send the Personal Visitor Form document through the corresponding on line site procedure for statistical purposes. (Instructions for registering foreign visiting researchers).
