According to the legislation mentioned, The National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation, or, where appropriate, the assessment bodies that the Law of Autonomous Communities determine, will be the responsible of an evaluation for renewing the accreditation, according to the assessment protocols, which will establish jointly the Assessment Agencies, which meet the quality criteria and standards established by the European Commission.
The evaluation process for the accreditation renewal has as its main objective to check if the results of a degree are appropriate and ensure the appropriate continuity of its teaching until the next renewal of the certification. These results focus, among others, in the verification of the acquisition of competences by students and in the assessment mechanisms of the acquisition of the same, which the university has prepared for each degree, as well as the analysis of the evolution of the results.
