Doctoral Programme of the Department of Mathematics Teaching.

The general objectives are:

1. Training competent researchers in Mathematics Teaching, providing an updated knowledge in the main fields of research and a methodological training which allow designing research projects and developing quality research projects.
2. Providing students with independence to learning , with constant updating and with autonomous research capacity.
3. Favouring the incorporation of students into the community of Mathematics Teaching researchers and their integration into local, national and international dimension teams.
4. Improving the quality of Mathematics Teaching through basic and applied research in Mathematics Teaching and the diffusion of the outcomes in the teaching community.

Specialisation of Mathematics Teaching of the Master’s Degree in Research in Specific Didactics.

The aim is to begin the training of new researchers in the foundation and theoretical and methodological advantages of the main research lines in Mathematics Teaching providing detailed information on several lines of research and an initial practice as researchers.

Specialisation of Mathematics Teaching of the Doctoral Programme in Research in Specific Didactics.

The aim is to deepen in the knowledge of a research line in Mathematics Teaching and the development of an original research project which will allow the preparation of the doctoral thesis.
