The Gospel Spirit Choir: the choir from Valencia that sings from the soul, will perform on March 4 at 1:30 p.m. at the Espai Cultural Isabel Clara-Simó of the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication.

The event is organized by the Office of the Vice-Dean for Culture, Equality, Inclusive Policies and Sustainability, in collaboration with the Equality Unit of the Universitat de València and the Office of the Vice-Rector for Equality, Diversity and Inclusive Policies.

Gospel music, historically linked to movements of dignity, resistance, and the fight against discrimination, is a particularly powerful tool for collective awareness. In the context of International Women’s Day (8M), the concert is conceived not merely as an artistic activity, but as a cultural space with a social dimension, capable of reinforcing values of equality, empowerment, and cohesion.
