The session consists of a conversation with Pedro Miguel Ribeiro, in which his creative trajectory and the intersection between literature and audiovisual language will be explored. Throughout the session, the author will share his experience as a screenwriter, presenter and writer, as well as the process of transforming ideas across different narrative formats, from television and radio to the novel. His publications and current projects will also be discussed. 

Pedro Miguel Ribeiro is a Portuguese writer, comedian, musician and presenter, as well as one of the main screenwriters for RTP (Portuguese Public Television) and a regular contributor to Antena 1. 

He began working in television at the age of 14 and has since developed an extensive career as a screenwriter, director and host of television and radio programmes. He has served as content director of the late-night show 5 Para a Meia-Noite, written for the Festival da Canção, and hosted several editions of the Prémios Sophia of the Portuguese Academy of Cinema, broadcast by RTP. He currently presents the programme Mesa para Dois on Antena 1. 

In addition, he currently performs the show Gata de Biblioteca, a comedy performance in which he humorously revisits great Portuguese writers, staged at the Teatro da Comuna. 

His first novel, A Última Ilusão, originally began as a film screenplay before being transformed into a novel published by Penguin Random House. He is currently working on his second book with the same publisher.
