Graduate student Mireia Cabanes Calabuig (BA in English Studies) was awarded on July 22 the prestigious “IELTS Award 2021” of the British Council to the best national project.
The prize-giving ceremony was chaired by the Director of the British Council Spain, Mark Howard, with the presence of the UV Vice-Chancellor for Internationalization and Cooperation, Carles Padilla, the FFTIC Vice-Dean for BA Programmes, Sergio Maruenda, and Prof. Francesc Valero, teacher at the IES Jaume I d’Ontinyent.
UV Graduate in English Studies, Mireia Cabanes pursued her MA studies in Applied Linguistics at Aston University (Birmingham). This award will boost Mireia’s PhD studies at the University of Cambridge.
