Conference ‘Geographies of Crime’

From November 29th to December 2nd, the III International Conference "Geographies of Crime. From spaces of perpetration to spaces of memory: social and cultural representations", organised by research group REPERCRI, will take place in our university.

In this event, the third international conference organized by the REPERCRI research group, we propose to reflect on the spaces of violence as places that contain meanings in tension, especially when, through memorial policies, they have been transformed into spaces of memory.

The sessions have been organized around five seminars:

-          Inaugural lectures + Methodology seminar (Monday, November 29th)

-          Buchenwald's seminar (Tuesday, November 30th)

-          Southern cone's seminar (Tuesday, November 30th)

-          Cambodia's seminar (Wednesday, December 1st)

-          Valley of the Fallen's seminar (Thursday, December 2nd)

This division allows those interested to make a full registration (which includes all five seminars) or partial registration, registering only for those seminars of interest. In both cases, registration is completely FREE and can be done through the following link:
