
As part of the activities of the GENERIZA teaching innovation project, a seminar entitled “Palestinian Women and Culture” will be held. The event will feature Dr Camelia Suleiman, a lecturer at Michigan State University, who will give a talk entitled “Palestinian Women Writers”.
The event will also include an artistic performance by cultural activist and artist Salma Alhakim, accompanied by guitarist Alejandro, who will present a programme of poetry and music based on a repertoire of popular Palestinian songs. The event will take place on 25 May at 12 noon in the main lecture theatre of the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication.
