Why, if I am a foreign student with NIE, I have been charged double the amount of the fees?
Non-EU foreign students who enrol at UVEG will be considered by default as non-resident students, and the system will apply the corresponding prices. Once they have submitted the documentation justifying their status as residents in Spain, the payments will be readjusted by the Faculty Secretariat.
*Please note that "Stay" status (e.g. Residence permit for studies) is not equivalent to "Residence" status. If you have any problem, please contact the Faculty

How do Waiting lists work?
After the enrolment period and the recount of available places for each Master's Degree, the students on the waitlist will be contacted by preference order. This will be announced on the website: Places allocation results or the pre-enrolment app, as well as via email.
Phase 2 will have a second Waiting List Call and it will proceed with the exact same process as
Finally, if there were still vacancies, it will be offered via phone call, text message or email to the corresponding candidates on the waiting list who have accredited that they hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (for phase 2 and the extraordinary phases, because Phase 1 is open only for graduated students). If after this Waiting List Call there still remained available places, students with pending studies (TFG and up to 9 ECTS Credits) will be contacted strictly following the order of the list.

What is the cost of a master’s degree course at the UV?
The UV is a public university so the price to take studies here is set yearly by the regional government. Each master’s degree webpage, published in the Student Services website, specifies the price per credit for that degree. The approximate price of a master’s degree can be calculated by multiplying the number of credits by the price per credit and adding 30€ for administrative fees.
In case of foreign students, please check the following FAQ regarding Higher Price.

Are enrolment fees higher for foreign students?
For non-resident students (except for students from member States of the European Union and those who can be under the community regime), the enrolment fees will be double the public price stablished for university academic services, but the corresponding price cannot exceed the whole cost of the academic service.
Master's Degrees with special interuniversity prices with Spanish universities and Master's Degrees with a special price that already doubles the cost of an ordinary Master's Degree.
You can check the Master's Degree fees for foreign students on the Master's Degree sheet, 'Summary', 'First enrolment credit fee for non-EU non-communicating students from abroad'.

Enrolment fees are payable in September or October, depending on the date of enrolment. The university allows payment in eight monthly instalments. Payment can also be made by credit card (in full or in instalments), so a Spanish bank account is not required.
