- 20 de febrero, 9:00-13:00 h. Taller "Multilevel analyses with R" (Igor Osipov & Patrick Dahdah, University of Wuppertal, Germany). PRESENCIAL. Contenidos: Brief overview over two-level models: random Intercept and random slope models, significance testing, model comparison; lab session: fitting two-level models in R; three-level models; lab session: fitting three-level models in R; longitudinal data analysis using multilevel models/multilevel logistic regression; lab session: fitting linear growth curve models in R/fitting multilevel logistic regression in R.R Basic knowledge in regression analysis and "R".
- 9 de marzo, 11:00-12:30 h. "School experiences of LGBT+ youth" (Richard Harris, University of Reading, UK). ON-LINE. Resumen: This talk examines the experiences of LGBTQ+ youngsters in schools and the challenges that they face. Drawing on different small-scale studies, this talk will address issues around school culture and school climate, and the impact this has on the lives of LGBTQ+ youngsters, in particular how this can contribute to issues around identity and isolation. The talk will explore what schools could do to improve the educational experiences of youngsters who identify as LGBTQ+.
- 29 de marzo, 15:00-17:00 h. "Short term memory in deaf people" (Eva Gutierrez-Sigut, University of Essex, UK). ON-LINE. Resumen: The objective of this talk is to explain how deafness and the use of a visual language shape our memory.
