The Remodelling of the Physics Teaching Laboratory on the ground floor is planned.

The project involves remodelling the space of the general Physics laboratory located on the ground floor of Block C. The use of new materials and systems is intended to improve the thermal and acoustic conditions of the classroom.

The system Blower Door will be used to track the project progress. Water tightness measurement.

The Faculty of Physics is located in two buildings, Physics C and Physics D. The partition walls will be demolished and the aluminium windows substituted for FSC wood windows. There is ventilated cellulose fibre boarding, placed on wooden battens. In which 50 mm agglomerated cork panels are mechanically fixed to the facing.

The ceiling is left with acoustic false ceiling panels finished with micro-perforated cellulose panel.

The electrical installations will be improved by replacing the lighting with LEDs, incorporating an electrified rail and improving the air conditioning in the classroom with a VRV system. A multifunctional remote control system will also be installed. The teaching laboratory is equipped with an office and an adjoining storeroom. The fire extinguishing system will be upgraded and a workbench and display cabinets above it will be added to the classroom equipment upgrade.
