The project is split in two parts.
Skylight replacement. The work will consist of removing the polycarbonate canopy over the original skylight to be able to remove its glass panes and the secondary structure on which they rest. The auxiliary means deemed necessary will be used.
Miramar Tower. The work to be carried out on the tower is concentrated on its upper part. From the cornice to the top. The grouting on the solid brick wall in that last part of the tower is degrading and needs to be replaced with lime mortar. Similarly, the finish of the cornices is deteriorating and would also need to be replaced. The dome with the exterior copper plate finish must be replaced and the interior wood that makes up the inside of the dome must be treated or replaced, if necessary. The grouting on the bricks of this last section of the tower must be replaced where necessary, as well as the stones that make up its highest part.
Cupola finial. The cupola finial is completely fractured due to the expansion of the metallic element, probably still inside it. Its dismantlement is needed to treat or substitute the metallic element and then put it back in again, with an exterior waterproofing treatment. For the intervention on the Miramar Tower and the top cupola, it is proposed to carry out vertical works.
