An open space for IUED researchers and feminist researchers in general.
L'esborrany: feminist research seminar
L'esborrany (/ləz.bəˈraɲ/, the draft) is an academic space for exchange and mutual support, directed by ruth m. mestre i mestre and coordinated by Laura Esteve. Its aim is to offer researchers a framework in which to share projects, progress, doubts and difficulties inherent to research work, with a collective and constructive perspective.
In each session, one person presents part of their work and the rest participate actively with comments and questions. It is not necessary to share the same discipline or the same object of study: the external perspective and the capacity for dialogue between diverse viewpoints are especially valued. The goal is to foster collaboration among researchers and to generate productive exchanges for everyone. The seminar also aspires to blur academic hierarchies, creating a horizontal space where all voices carry equal weight.
Aimed especially at junior profiles (predocs and postdocs), the space is open to all researchers at the IUED, as well as visiting researchers, collaborators, and anyone whose area of research is aligned with the feminist approach and mission of the Institute.
