The Professional Placement and Careers Advice Monitoring Centre (OPAL) aims to assist in job placement to all students and graduates of the Universitat de València and improve their career prospects
For this, the OPAL offers a range of services to help the students:

Guidance and Advice
Do you know the career opportunities of your degree? What training should you do? Do you know the scholarships you can choose? Can you make a good CV? How to prepare a selection process and a job interview? Do you want to work abroad? Preparing yourself for a public competition? Do you want a professional improvement?
The OPAL provides you with a team of professionals that will solve all your personalized queries and inform you all about your degree to meet your needs and/or interests.

Employment and Entrepreneurship

Join our Placement Agency/Job Bank through the following link, and you will have access to:
- Placement Agency/Job Bank: where companies interested in hiring students and/or graduates of the UV publish their offers which you will receive in your email according as your professional profile.
- Job offers Panel: weekly service that collects jobs advertised in different media and sent to your email so you have more insertion options.
- Business Directory: where over a thousand companies that post jobs are willing you send them your self candidacy.
- Record your video CV: Differentiate yourself from other candidates recording your self audio-visual presentation. Increase your chances of employment
- University Gazette of Employment (BUO): BUO is a gazette through which companies and students and graduates of the University are up to date with news and updates related to the Labour Market

If you are a company and you have staffing needs you may register as a company in the Agency Placement/Job Bank and publish your offers for free.
The OPAL has a database with more than 10,000 users, constantly updated with both students and graduates with and without experience.

Training
What training do I need to improve my employability? How I can develop skills that are useful in the workplace?
In addition to the specific knowledge of your course, you must acquire a set of skills that will improve your chances of employment.
Free-elective courses will also be useful to know among others, techniques and tools job search, interview preparation and selection processes and other skills demanded in the workplace.
