Since January 20, 2022, the University of Valencia has integrated its electronic registration services with the state platform GEISER. After the approval and entry into force of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, which includes provisions related to the electronic registry, they will have to be fully interoperable and will have the assistance of the records assistance offices.
GEISER (Integrated Management of Registry Services) is a comprehensive registry solution that works in the cloud to provide the service for any public body, which covers both the management of its entry/exit registry offices and the reception and sending of records in the processing units that receive the documentation.
The GEISER registry service is the main piece of the Registry Management Shared Service.
The application allows the digitalization of the documentation presented by the citizen in the offices, and having SICRES 3.0 certification enables the exchange of records in electronic format with other organizations connected to the SIR platform.
This figure of shared services, created by Royal Decree 806/2014, of September 19, is one of the fundamental operating instruments of the new ICT governance and falls within strategic objective 3 of the Strategy "Greater efficiency in the provision of ICT services”, specifically line of action 6 “Provide common services in a shared manner”.
