The University of Valencia, its foundations and associated entities are fully adapted to the LOPD and the GDPR and, therefore, have an address lopd@uv.es for any information, suggestions, requests for the exercise of rights and the amicable resolution of disputes regarding the protection of personal data.

Any person may exercise the following rights in accordance with the LOPD and the RGPD over the files owned by the University of Valencia, its foundations and associated entities:

- Right of access to your personal data in order to know which ones are being processed and the processing operations carried out with them.

- Right to rectification of any inaccurate data.

- Right to erasure and forget your personal data, when this is possible.

- Right to restriction of the processing of your personal data when the accuracy, legality or necessity of the processing is doubtful, in which case we may keep them for the exercise or defence of claims.

- The right to data portability, when the legal basis for their processing is a contractual relationship or consent.

- The right to object the processing of your personal data, when the legal basis for their processing is the existence of a legitimate interest. To this end, we will stop processing your data unless we have a compelling legitimate interest or for the formulation, exercise or defence of claims.

- Right to revoke your consent at any time.

The data subject can exercise their rights, when appropriate, before the Universitat de València - Data Protection Officer, Blasco Ibáñez n.º 13, 46010, Valencia, Spain (lopd@uv.es). 

However, when a user considers that a breach of data protection legislation has been committed with respect to the processing or transfer of their personal data, they may, before making any complaint, request our friendly dispute resolution service for data protection and new technologies through lopd@uv.es

The use of this service will, in no case, prejudice your right to contact the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
