The five universities which form Valencian Public University System launch the site SIUVP (http://www.siuvp.es) that offers a complete informative system formed by more than 62 signs from homogeneous and comparable data between five institutions.
How is the academic offer in valencian universities? How many students study in their classrooms? Which are the most demanded degrees? How is the staff from these institutions? What volume of economical resources do they manage? How is their investigator activity? Are the internationalized?

The site SIUVP is a Valencian Public University System of Information created between Universitat de València, la Universitat Politècnica de València, la Universidad de Alicante, la Universitat Jaume I de Castelló y la Universidad Miguel Hernández, in order to make known their activity and results to the citizenship by means of objective signs that will grow progressively. Among other data, it is possible to enter to the academic offer, the number of students, degrees requests, university staff and its economical resources.
This site is one more tool whereby valencian public universities render accounts to society by showing, in an exercise in transparency, the efficacy and efficiency reached en its working. In this site, adapted to computers and mobile devices, it is possible to consult the definition of the used signs and variables from which are calculated, allowing the users to select the sign they want and to personalize the search from time period, a specific university o the system in general, and in some signs, the educationa brach or degree detail. All the information from the site is showed with downloadable graphics, tables.
The site SIUVP is the result of the five public universities from Valencian Community and Ivia (The Valencian Institute of Economic Research) as a whole, that have develeoped a shared metholodogy to offer homogeneous, comparable and accesible information to the citizenship. The site allows the users the acces to this information, the definition of all the sings and variables taken into account.
