To humanise and make campuses more comfortable. Actions related to the humanisation and comfort of the campus will be aimed at improving the quality of life of the people in the university community within our facilities. More pleasant spaces that are better adapted to the needs of comfort and new uses of the Universitat’s facilities.

To improve teaching spaces and those aimed at students. Construction of new teaching spaces on the campuses (lecture halls, buildings for relocating departments and laboratories). In addition to the singular project of the Espai Vives, new spaces will be set up for students for out of term-time periods on campus.

To increase the number of spaces for research, innovation and entrepreneurship. This includes the construction of new buildings for research, a specific innovation building of the Universitat de València and spaces for entrepreneurship on the campuses. As well as the enhancement and refurbishment of existing research laboratories, and new spaces for research institutes.

To improve energy efficiency and sustainability. The aim is to have energy efficient buildings where energy consumption is saved and reduced. Interventions on the production systems and air-conditioning systems of the centres to make them more efficient and effective, complemented by centralised control systems for maintenance management. In the search for greater sustainability, the installation of photovoltaic energy systems for own consumption should be increased, as well as electric vehicle charging points.

To listen to the university community and engage it in the design of infrastructure initiatives. Major transformative projects will be addressed in a participatory manner, with constant dialogue with the representatives of the groups involved, and with singular consultation procedures in relevant cases.
