J. Àngel Cano Mateu (l’Olleria, 1991) holds a PhD in Catalan Philology from the University of Valencia. His thesis, supervised by Dr. Carme Gregori, explores the literary journalism of Joan Fuster, specifically focusing on the essays the renowned Sueca-born writer published in Serra d'Or. Ferran Carbó Aguilar (Vila-real 1960) is a professor in the area of ​​Catalan Philology at the University of Valencia. Raquel Casesnoves Ferrer, graduated in Hispanic Philology from the University of Valencia and PhD in Linguistic Anthropology from the University of Montreal in 2001. She was employed as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Montreal between 2002 and 2004 and at the University of Ottawa during 2005. She won a Ramón y Cajal grant, and between 2008 and 2012  joined the Institute of Applied Linguistics of Pompeu Fabra University. She currently works as a full-time professor in the Department of Catalan Philology at the University of Valencia. His main research areas include Demolinguistics and Sociology of Language. The evolution of the knowledge and uses of Valencian, the socio-demographic factors, ideologies, motivations and identities that explain the biographies or linguistic trajectories of Valencians, the processes of Castilianization, Valencianization or revernacularization are some examples. Maria-Josep Cuenca is a Professor of Catalan Linguistics at the University of Valencia (Spain) and member of the  Institut Interuniversitari de Filologia Valenciana and of the  Catalan Language Academy (Institut d’Estudis Catalans). Her research focusses on text grammar and discourse analysis, especially, deixis, compound sentences, connectives, discourse markers and interjections, among other subjects related to the interface between syntax and discourse. Vicent Josep Escartí has a B.A. in Medieval History and a Ph.D. in Catalan Philology (Universitat de València). He is a Professor of Catalan Philology at the University of Valencia. He has been a Visiting Professor at the Università degli Studi di Verona. Josep Izquierdo Gil (Massamagrell, l’Horta nord, 1965). Doctor in Philology with a thesis on Medieval Catalan Literature (1995) which received the Massó i Torrens prize from the IEC in 1996. Professor of secondary education and associate professor in the Departament de Filologia Catalana of the Universitat de València. He is co-director of the magazine Tirant: butlletí informatiu i bibliogràfic de novel·la de caballeries,  and editorial secretary of the magazine Magnificat Cultura i Literatura Medievals, directed by Dr. Rosanna Cantavella. Gonçal López-Pampló (Valencia, 1982) has a degree in Catalan Studies (UV) and English Studies (UNED). He holds a Master's degree in Education and e-learning (UOC). He obtained his doctorate in 2016 with a thesis supervised by Professor Carme Gregori Soldevila, which dealt with the essay as a literary genre. Based on this work, he has published the books D'Ors a Fuster. Per una història de l'assaig en la literatura contemporània (PUV, 2017) and Primera lliçó sobre l'assaig (PAM / CMT, 2023), in addition to several contributions to collective books, academic journals and conferences. Eulàlia Miralles Jori (Barcelona, 1971). After studying Catalan Philology at the Universitat de Barcelona (1994), I undertook predoctoral research at the Universitat de Barcelona (1996-1999). Manuel Pérez Saldanya, born in Valencia in 1962, has a degree in Hispanic Philology (Valencian Section) and Doctor of Catalan Philology from the University of Valencia. He lectures in the Degree in Catalan Philology and the Degree in Interlinguistic Translation and Mediation, as well as in the Master's Degree in Research in Languages and Literatures. It credits two CNAI six-year research periods and two five-year lecturing periods.  

He is member of the International Association of Catalan Language and Literature (AILLC), of the Spanish Association of Cognitive Linguistics (AELCO/SCOLA), of the Spanish Association of Linguistics of Corpus Linguistics (AELINCO), of Societas Linguistica Europaea (SLE) and of International Pragmatics (IPRA).

Ramon X. Rosselló Ivars (born Benissa, 1969) is member of the Department de Filologia Catalana since 1993, and a member of the Institut Interuniversitari de Filologia Valenciana (https://web.ua.es/va/iifv/inici.html). He has a PhD from the University of Valencia since 1996 and has been a tenured university professor since 2000. He was director of the Aula de Teatre, vice dean of the Facultat de Filologia, Traducció i Comunicació, secretary and director of the Department de Filologia Catalana.

His teaching and research work has focused on the study of theatre, fundamentally on the theatre of the 19th and 20th centuries. In addition to different articles and book chapters, he has published the volumes Anàlisi de l'obra dramàtica de Manuel de Pedrolo (1997), Anàlisi de l'obra teatral (teoria i pàctica) (1999/republished in 2011), Teatre català del segle XX (2011) and Primera lliçó sobre el teatre (2023). He was editor of Aproximació al teatre valencià actual (1968-1998) (2000), of 25 anys pràcticament inventats (2006) and of the dossier Noves veus a escena: el teatre valencià entre dos segles (L'Aiguadolç magazine, 2016), as well as as co-editor of several monographs: El teatre català de la postguerra ençà (1994), Escalante i el teatre del segle XIX (1997), Les literatures catalana i francesa: postguerra i engagement (2000), Usos de la ironia en la literatura catalana contemporània (2006), La recepció del teatre contemporani (2010), La ironia en les literatures occidentals des de l’inici de segle fins a 1939 (2016) and La mirada retornada (2021).

He is a member of the Contemporary Catalan Literature Research Group of the Universitat de València and of the research project on the uses of irony in contemporary literature (www.uv.es/ironialitcat), which this group carried out. This group is currently developing a new research project, focusing on hypertextual relations in 20th century Catalan literature.

He is currently pursuing a doctorate in languages, literatures, cultures and their applications and is a substitute professor attached to the Department of Catalan Philology of the University.

Her research belongs to diachronic and corpus linguistics and she is currenyly preparing a thesis entitled «Cliticization and linguistic change: the Catalan weak pronouns in the Romanic context (13th - 21th c.)», under the supervision of Dr. Andreu Sentí and Dr. Manuel Pérez Saldanya.
