- Care in the aging process.Aging is a process that is associated with gains and losses. Taking good care of elderly people is a challenge for our aging societies. Our aim in this line is to explore models of care, and especially comprehensive care focused on the person from a gender perspective, in care homes and community settings.
- Psychological well-being.Psychological well-being is synonymous with good mental health throughout life. Our goal in this line is to analyse the predictors of well-being in aging people.
- Older adults Discrimination, ageism and social exclusion .Age discrimination reduces the possibilities of aging well. Our aim in this line is to reflect on the diversity of ways of aging, discrimination in old age, ageism and social exclusion, their risk and protection factors (LGBT, disability, minority groups and women).
- Social support, loneliness and social participation .Loneliness and social participation are linked throughout life. They are related to social support. There are internal and external determinants/environments. Our aim in this line is to analyse the risk and protection factors of loneliness and participation in old age and especially in rural environments or social exclusion groups.
