The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry has delivered this Wednesday, 8 May, the special awards of llicenciatura in Medicine and degree in Dentistry 2011-2012. At the same ceremony, there was an act of appreciation and thanks to the teachers and administration and services staff who retired last year. The gala was held in the Aula Magna of the Faculty.
The winners are Luis Luis Miranda Gómez, Alejandro Durante López, Alejandra de Andrés Gómez, Andrea Eixeres Esteve, Ana Payá Chaume and Leticia Ortega Evangelio for the llicenciatura in Medicine, and Riccardo Fabian Fonzar and Diego Millán Martínez for the degree in Dentistry. The medicine graduates have passed the examinations of the MIR (Internal Medical Resident) in the last call.
The event was attended by the vice-principals for Language Policy and Studies, Isabel Vazquez and for Communication and International Relations, Silvia Barona, the dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Federico Pallardó, the associate dean Montserrat Catala, and secretary, Luis Aparicio. Also at the table was Lorraine Saus, representing the Genome Systems Foundation.
