The world crisis caused by the COVID-19 surprised Nerea Gadea, a third-year student in the Primary Education degree at the Teacher Training College, in Denmark.

Nerea Gadea was on her Erasmus at the University College South Denmark when the coronavirus crisis and the suspension of on-site teaching erupted. Back home in Spain, she tells us how she is dealing with this experience. Back home in Spain, she tells us how she is dealing with this experience.

'For the last month the whole course has been online, we have a platform very similar to the Virtual Classroom of the Universitat called It's learning where teachers are in contact with students,' says Nerea. The student from the Faculty of Teacher Training explains that it is through this platform where links are posted to attend classes via Skype, where the assignments are added and where the finished work is uploaded.

Nerea is fully aware of the importance of the role of each one of us to stop the spreading of coronavirus and that is why she stays at home without going to any supermarket or anywhere else.

As far as feelings are concerned, she feels a twofold sadness at not having been able to finish her Erasmus and the hope that all this will soon be over. ' I'm in touch with my friends and we're already planning trips. I try to keep my mind busy and do activities that will distract me,' explains Gadea.

She concludes with a hopeful note: 'I know that it won't be long before all this is over and I'll be able to hug my friends and grandparents again, if we all behave properly.'
