The UV research groups (GIUV) are regulated in the 1st chapter of the Regulation ACGUV48/2013, which explains the procedure for creating new research structures. They are basic research and organizational structures that result from the voluntary association of researchers that share objectives, facilities, resources and common lines of research. These researchers are also committed to the consolidation and stability of their activity, work in groups and the capability to achieve a sustainable funding.
The research groups included in the previously mentioned Regulation are registered in the Register of Research Structures of the Universitat de València (REIUV), managed by the Office of the Vice-principal for Research. The basic information of these organisms can be found in this website.

Reference of the Group:
Description of research activity: The CLIDET research group studies the use of evaluation and clinical intervention tools within the framework of active physiotherapy. Thus, its main objective is the design and validation of instruments that improve physiotherapy intervention in the context of therapeutic exercise, both for a better clinical examination of the patient and to optimise intervention through exercise. The disciplines within which the group's activities are developed are diverse, using tools aimed at assessing and actively approaching patients with traumatic, degenerative or metabolic pathologies. In this way, it aims to benefit both physiotherapists, by providing them with new uses of instruments that can improve their practice, and patients, to whom such practices are applied.
Web:
Research lines: - Application of virtual reality in physiotherapy. The aim of this line of research is to examine the uses and effectiveness of virtual reality in different areas of physiotherapy, both in the evaluation of the patient and in its implementation as an active approach in different pathologies.
- Effects of exercise in type 1 diabetes..Study of the impact of different types of exercise (aerobic, HIIT and strength) on the physiology and metabolism of women and men with type 1 diabetes through short and long-term interventions.
- Assessment and active approach of the patient with musculoskeletal pathology through telerehabilitation. This line of research aims to develop and/or validate tools that allow physiotherapists to perform a functional assessment of their patients remotely and apply the same exercise programmes aimed at musculoskeletal pathology.
- Functional clinimetry in physiotherapy.Develop and/or validate instruments that facilitate functional assessments of patients and study the reliability and sensitivity to change of such instruments.
