Talk. Stress is a feeling of physical or emotional strain that is triggered when someone perceives a situation or event as threatening or overwhelming.
Our frenetic lifestyle turns the stress into a damage to our society.
Even if everyone may ever feel stressed, experts warn against the devastating effects that chronic stress can have on our health (memory loss, headache, stiff neck or jaw, fatigue, sleeping disorder, high blood pressure, heart failure, diabetes, obesity, depression or anxiety, etc.) and they inform us about the possibility to fight them by doing different activities. Stress does not always have negative consequences. Sometimes its presence represents a perfect opportunity to implement new personal resources, thus boosting our self-esteem and increasing future opportunities of success.
