Eva Thüne Poetry Reading.

 

Eva-Maria Thüne is a German language, linguistics and literature professor in the University of Bologne (Italy). Her research fields are: conversational analysis, German sociolinguistics, linguistic analysis of literary texts, Gender Studies and the Exillliterature. Moreover, she translates literary texts by Unica Zürn, Yüksel Pazarkaya, Hasan Özdemir or Elisa Biagini, among others. Eva Taylor writes prose and poetry both in German as in Italian, for which she has been awarded many prizes and grants and has made her member of the ‘Compagnia delle poete’. Among her latest publications stand out Aus dem Schneebuch (2008), Gartenarbeit (2010) and Volti di parole (2010). Given the multidisciplinary and intercultural character of her research and of her literary style, the Poetry Hall is to collaborate this time with the Department of French and Italian Philology, the English and German Department, the Vice-principal for Culture, Equality and Planning and the AGPACV (Association of German Teachers and Germanists of the Valencia County) in order to create a wider exchange. The poetry reading will be done in four languages (German, Italian, Spanish and Valencian) and there is also a conference in German scheduled about “Unica Zürn: Literatur und Malerei” (Unica Zürn: literature and painting) with free entry
